California Kiteboarding’s Jason Lee visited Maui recently for the 2017 Naish World Dealer Meeting. Dealers got to hear about Naish’s new 2017 products and try them out for themselves.
It wouldn’t be a true SUP and kiteboarding event without actually partaking in the sports, so Jason got to both kiteboard and SUP in his time in Maui. Thanks to his Garmin Sport Watch he tracked his routes during his kite and SUP sessions.
He got in about an hour of kiteboarding by the Kahului Airport at the aptly named Kite Beach. Jason’s route was about 11 miles with an average wind speed of 11 mph. His SUP sessions weren’t as long, but he broke it up by going on a downwinder and enjoying a SUP surf session at Thousand Peaks. The downwinder took him on almost a 4 mile trek along the coastline. See his routes below along with photos from the exciting 2017 Naish World Dealer Meeting!
