We headed over to Shell Beach in Pismo Beach, California last week for the first winter swell.
The 80 degree central coast weather was perfect with no wind and sunny skies. The water was warm enough you could’ve worn a shortie.
Jason, Justin, Dana, and Will took some paddle boards out to take advantage of the beautiful day.
The San Martine buoy was 10 to 15 feet at 15 seconds. The swell direction was a little north and not that big. Shell Beach likes a little more West in it.
There were a lot of surfers out but we sat on the outside to get the waves they couldn’t.
We got some footage of the day and brought out the  Tarot 650 Coaxial Octocopter with Tarot Gimbal with our GoPro HERO3+ and got some aerial view. Check out some clips.
